    Hi,

I’m trying The Theme Arthemia Free which I can’t find how to edit the 5 drop down menus under “Browse Categories” or the Headline tag just above that and the Featured tag just to the right of that.

Check out my site here to see exactly what I mean:

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    John

  • Hi John

Could you please specify the exact issue that you are facing while updating categories under “Browse Categories”?
Apropos the Featured tag, if you are not able to get posts under the same, please check if you have checked ‘Featured’ as a category for the respective posts. Arthemia free would allow you to display 4 featured posts.

    Hi,

I found this page describing how to edit Arthemia Free and it helped with most of my issues:

    https://www.infospears.com/customize-arthemia-free-wordpress-theme/

I am able to edit the “Browse Categories” and the advertizing.

However, the Featured post next to the Headline post just above the “Browse Categories” wont appear?

Does this only work with exactly 4 post checked off under Featured? I have more than 4 checked off under Featured.

Why can’t I get this to work when the Headline right next to it is working?

Again you can follow the link to my site to see what I’ve changed and what I mean. Thanks.

    Hi John

It appears that there is some issue with the categorization of posts.
The Headline is displayed as required because it is categorized as headline under articles.
You would need to do the same for the featured category. Right now, it is being referenced only to articles and not articles/featured.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice unbelted, you are absolutely correct. I just needed to change the slug to Featured to get my posts to appear in the Featured window.

And it took me this long to get around to even getting that. That is sad, but at least I got it even if only eventually.

    Again thanks.

But now I need to find how to edit the “Blog Roll” on the side bar. Arthemia posts there own links on the side bar without any obvious access to editing them. If you know or someone does how to edit Arthemia’s blogroll I would greatly appreciate finding out how.

I will also post this in a separate inquiry.

    John
