• Hi,
I am using a theme that does not show images in articles on frontpage of my wordpress site. Pictures only show when reading an entire post. On frontpage only intro text and “read more” but NO PICTURES!
Can you help me solve that?
    Regards

    Hi
    I am using a theme called WP-PortalTheme.
    Regards

You’ll need to find the relevant theme file – it may be index.php – and edit it accordingly. If the file is currently set to show the_excerpt() only change it to show the_content() instead, which should include images as well as the entire post. Be sure to make a backup of any changed files so you can revert back to the original version if something goes wrong.

Thank you for the tip. I did it but it displays the entire text and still no pictures! I would like to keep showing “the_excerpt()” but with a picture as most templates do.

Thank you anyway for your help.

Are you maybe looking for Post Thumbnails?
