Article/post not showing its image

    Hi there,

    Hope to have an answer since this forum seems to be abandoned.

    I’ve a blog made with Pencil theme and I noticed that also if I put an image, as featured image to a new post, this image is visible only on the blog page but if I click the post to read its content the image isn’t shown.

    How I can put the featured image of an article right above the article text?

    Hi @phex

    to put image at the top of the article you may (for example):
    – add image to the article content (at the beginning of the article)
    – modify single.php and/or content-single.php template files. PHP/HTML/CSS knowledge may be helpful. Using child theme is a good practice here.

    There is probably more ways to handle that, everything depends on your needs. Theme is GPL licensed so you may modify whatever you want.
