Is there a way to post an article or post, on a specific webpage, rather than the blog page plus the other page? For example, if I have a video I would like to post on a dedicated “Video” page, and NOT have that same video also posted on the blog page, is that possible? If so how?

Just create a PAGE… instead of a POST.

Yes, but if I have multiple videos over time I don’t want it to be scattered across pages. I rather a version of a blog page but for videos.

This way, your video posts will only appear on the dedicated “Videos” page and not on your main blog page.

Really? I don’t think that’s how WordPress works.

This category menu link will display ONLY the posts assigned to the Video category alright…

But, by default, ALL posts, irrespective of which category they’re in, will ALSO appear on the main blog/posts page, in date archives, etc… unless you take extra steps (via custom code or plugin) to exclude such posts.

Hey all I figured it out. Created a new page, and inserted a blog post theme in the query, which was an option, I ticked off the category Video and removed all others. Now this page only displays my videos.
