Article Summary Not Working

Hi,

I’m a newbie and would appreciate your help.

I’m wanting to create ‘summary’ posts, however I’m finding articles are showing in ‘full text’. And the ‘Read More’ button is showing even though there isn’t any more to read.

I have selected the following:
-Settings
–Reading
—For each article in a feed, show
—-Summary (selected)

I was previously using another theme and it worked fine.

Is there another setting I need to change?
