  • I think, not real sure…but you have to install it first to use this forum ??

weird bug. the tables exist in the database as the installer shows…

Well, I’ll try a laugh on that – first comments on the blog come six days after my post and 1 day after the mysql database crashes erasing three months of journal which I find I have become quite attached to.

    contact ur host.
    try to repair ur database…
do anything but recover it back… ??

Good to see you up and running again. ??
The one-click backup script/hack is quite useful.

If you have cron, you can run the following command to make a copy of your database:
    mysqldump –user=DBusername –password=DBpassword DBname | gzip > /path/to/backup/file/ForumDBBackup.gz

Thanks for the suggestions and help everyone, I am going to be running a mysql backup via cron daily from now on but the old journal data is irrevocably lost. It’s OK I’m over it now, every day a new day. Thanks again
    Andrew
