• Gutenburg is perhaps suffering from initial release woes (I, personally, came to WordPress since its release and have loved using it), but it has a damn good design that is intuitive to use, even if not yet simple to customize.

I am seriously considering contributing to the development of WordPress and Gutenburg in particular simply because I am so attracted to the design that underlies it. Great job, designers and developers.

It has been released into the public on the most used web platform in the world. It deserves the rating it earns *now* not one based on its theoretical potential. If it has such potential, why didn’t they wait until it reached it? By releasing, they claimed it was ready. It clearly is not ready for any production use.

Maybe it’s not ready for *all* uses, but it’s perfectly fine for most, I don’t see why it isn’t ready for “any production use”. I’ve been using it for 3-10K word posts without a single problem, it’s pretty stable now. I honestly can’t go back to the old editor, can’t stand it anymore.

…….it’s perfectly fine for those users who are into wysiwyg page editors. WordPress has told us for years not to go that direction, and now they just do that.
