As I build my first Prodigy Commerce store, a wish list..
-
You had me at “no fees”, so I am pushing into a WordPress and Prodigy Commerce online store. So far it has been pretty easy, but as a WooCommerce developer, there are some things I hope are included in updates.
My wish list…
Bulk Product Delete
While deleting the demo content, I was able to bulk delete the Categories, but not the products.Product SEO
Unknown how Prodigy Commerce handles optimizing product for search engine, but I’d like to be able to customize each product or their variations.Product Bundles
Product bundles help a few of my client get bigger orders. Bundling offers of unrelated products simply sells more stuff. On a minor note, consider removing any Shortcode in the Demo that is not included in the online documentation. Trying to figure out how to configure the “[prodigy_banner title=…]” was a tad frustrating. (My solution was to delete that particular shortcode and use a DIVI module to configure the top banner/hero image area.)
So far I haven’t seen any conflicts with DIVI’s Code module and Prodigy Commerce shortcodes!
