    Hi all,

I wonder if someone could give me a few pointers on this issue?

OK so this is a brand new site just finishing the build, no traffic as yet and everything up to date running security & all theme & plugins legitimate copies. Live now.

Iam setting all affiliate links as 301 nofollow! yet as soon as i publish a post according to Pretty link lite my links are bing hit numerous times by a small number of IPs.

After a reverse looking up one of the IPs it belongs to my own hosting service?

There are a couple of other hosting companies there and a few none descript “Internet businesses”.

This is confusing as I mentioned its not even up in serps.

It is also frustrating as my affiliate account is logging up clickthroughs which I know are not human?

Any ideas espcially my own host as could do with some background before I speak to them?

    Many Thanks in advance

You can enable the option to block known bots. That may block a number of those hits from being tracked. However, not every bot in the world is blocked, so you may need to do some IP filtering as well on some of the more common IP’s that you get.
