Asian username

    Hi @ditout,

    Let’s try one more time with that plugin since I’ve made another test on my WP Instance and I was able to register a user that has Chinese characters in its Username.

    After you’ve installed and activated the following plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/restrict-usernames-emails-characters/. Please go to your site’s Dashboard -> Settings -> Restrict Usernames Emails Characters -> and from there make sure the plugin functionality is enabled (the first toggle/setting), and now, most importantly, scroll down until you see the “Choose language (characters) in username.” setting and from there select “All languages (all letters and numbers and accented as: é ?)“, after that click on “Save Changes”.

    Now you should be able to use Asian characters inside the Username field.
