• On my blog im running 2.0 (as of this week) and k2, it’s amazing I have a lot of great plugins. Im just started using the “asides” plugin which displays the post in the sidebar, im using it for “brief updates” not worthy of full posts but just for updates, I wasnt sure what “asides” meant or if it had a reason to be there. I know I can use it how I need or want, but what is the description and what is it normally used for? Just curious ??
    thanks,

  • An explanation of where “asides” comes from:

“Aside” is a theater term which means a digression or piece of dialogue intended for the audience alone. For WP’s purposes, I think of it as a unattached comment where you get to point out something without the need to treat it like a regular post (or, um, comment).
