My website offers eight subscription packs, each with a specific price. When I attempted to add PayPal as a payment method, I encountered a roadblock. I’m unsure about the procedure required to enable PayPal to dynamically retrieve the price associated with each subscription pack.

Could you guide me on the best approach to configure this? Is it necessary to create a separate form for each subscription pack, or is there another method to effectively link subscription prices to PayPal?

    Hi @atlasmeta,

Trust you are keeping well and thank you for reaching out to us.

Can you please confirm if you have tried using the variable option in the PayPal field? You can change the value using a Calculation field as the PayPal payment amount, which is calculated based on the subscription selected.

Here is an export of an example form: https://pastebin.com/D08Pipne

I hope the following articles come in handy:

Please feel free to get back to us if you need any further clarification, we are happy to help.

    Kind Regards,

    Dear Nebu John,

Thank you for your prompt reply and guidance.

While I appreciate the information about utilizing the variable option in the PayPal field, my preference is to streamline the user experience by enabling direct navigation from the product page to the subscription selection within the form page. This would allow users to seamlessly proceed without reselecting their preferred pack.

Is it possible to implement a solution where the selected pack on the product page can transfer or pre-select the subscription within the form page? I believe this would significantly enhance the user journey and reduce redundancy in selecting the pack again.

I look forward to your insights and suggestions on achieving this integration.

Thank you once again for your assistance.

    Hi @atlasmeta

I see you have already opened a separate topic about streamlining that user experience here

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/streamlined-product-to-subscription-selection/

I have already responded to it so please take a look.

Since (according to that new topic) the “variable amount” aspect is already explained and sorted, I’m marking this topic as resolved and let’s continue there.

    Best regards,
    Adam
