• Hi,

Currently visitors can purchase my digital products during checkout by signing up at the same time (signing up is necessary so they can have access to the download section of their account). I want to preserve this functionality (i.e. I dont want customers to first have to sign up before being able to checkout) while being able to verify their email address. Is there any way to achieve that?

Something like you cant proceed with the checkout if the email address hasn’t been tested during the process.

    Hi @neoseo1300,

Sorry for the late reply. This sound like really useful feature, however, after reviewing WooCommerce code today, I still haven’t figured it out how to achieve this. I can stop checkout process for unverified users, but only before the user is created. In other words, the user would have register on a separate page, then verify his email and then go to checkout, and this is not what we need. Will be looking into this further…

Appreciate the feedback. Indeed, it doesn’t seem like an easy feature to implement. Will keep an eye out in case something new pops up.

    Thanks!
