Askismet Deleted 96.7% of My Comments as Spam

I don’t like to know that every single comment made has gone missing and i can’t find them to verify if they were spam or not. I have noticed that when i check my own spam the ones i would approve as comments are still label spam and then go missing and are unrecoverable. my settings are to save all spam till i moderate where are they?
