I have a big problem with the Asset Cleanup plugin. If the path of the /wp-content folder is changed then AC doesn’t work properly, it doesn’t link css and js files.

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. We did have some issues with Asset Cleanup in the past but we noticed that they use the meta ID to identify the CSS and JS.

    Try switching off the option
Hide My WP > Tweaks > Hide Options > Hide IDs from META Tags

    https://hidemywpghost.com/kb/activate-security-tweaks/#hide_ids_tags

If the error continues, check with the Asset Cleanup plugin author if there is a specific option that doesn’t work when you have different wp-content path on your website.

    Other options you can try:

    • Switch ON Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Priority Loading
    • Switch ON Hide My WP > Advanced > Compatibility > Late Loading
    • Switch OFF Hide My WP > Tweaks > Hide Options > Hide Version from Images, CSS and JS in WordPress

I checked all possible combinations you write about. Unfortunately, nothing helped.
