    Hello,

Im using this plugin to inventarise our band members when there is an option for a gig (about 20 people in the band).
People need sign in to submit. So everything is link to their wordpress account for this site.

Is there a way to automaticaly link persons so specific roles?
So if i would react to a specific dat the leaderof the band sees besides my name that the drummer is present (etc. for the trompet, trombone and so on)

And ofcourse the question if it is possible to make this fieldshown in the “data table” when the leader gets the overview of the people present.

    Thank you!

Take a look at a related plugin, RSVPMaker Volunteer Roles. It was developed on commission by another organization that had a similar need to register members for specific roles, rather than just getting a yes/no answer.

The volunteer roles plugin hasn’t been updated for Gutenberg, but there is a shortcode you use to specify the role name and whether more than one person can sign up for it. There’s also a specialized version of the calendar that lets people see at a glance what dates have open volunteer opportunities.

These signups go into a separate report, not the main RSVP Report. I may eventually integrate that feature into the base plugin, but it’s not at the top of my list.

    Hello David,

    Thanks for the tip.
I allready found a working workaround.
In the user menu of wordpress I filled the AIM field with the kind of instrument the person playes.
In the field format menu of RSVPmaker I just input the AIM field and renamed it Instruments. Used the same “code” base as the name field, so WordPress (or the RSVPmaker plugin) fills in this information automatically.

In the data table part you can select the AIM input (or rather its always on).
The only thing is now that in the data sheet the colom is caled AIM and not Instruments, but that’s just because of the way I used it (its a WordPress field not a RSVPmaker one).

For me this way it is manageable.

In this cause i don’t need people to volunteer for a specific role, but have it “imported” from their user info.

    Thanks for your fast replies
