I’m trying to build a site where users can get info on sales and find out about events etc. locally. My idea was to basically assign a page to each business and give them the ability to edit it(the page/post/listing) and submit posts So that all the members get the opportunity to view it. BePro seems to do most of this for me but can I assign posts to listings or listing ‘owners’. I am using buddypress as well so new listings show up in the activity feed but listings can’t ‘create’ posts. Could I maybe make a custom type of user?
Thanks for any replies, I’m a WP noob and the more I think about this the more confused I get.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for reaching out. You do seem to be getting a few of the terminologies mixed up. For example, listings are posts. Also, i’m not sure what you mean by a custom type of user.

Ultimately, BePro Listings does seem like a perfect solution for the needs you have outlined. So come over to our bepro listings forums where one of our developers can help you with understanding whats possible. We try to utilize this area on www.ads-software.com only for bugs and installation issues.
