Assign the export and erase personal data capabilities to different user roles

    Hey there,

    I cannot seem to figure out how to enable access to the new export/erase personal data tools for my custom user roles.

    I’ve created a clone of the admin user role with the Members plugin and added the ‘export_others_personal_data’ and ‘remove_others_personal_data’ capabilities to it. But this doesn’t work. I feel like I’m just missing something obvious or perhaps it isn’t possible?

    Does anyone know how I can let other user roles access these tools?

    Greatly appreciate any help ??

    Which member plugin are you using?

    Please identify exactly which plugin you are using and then I recommend posting in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    This one, I’ll ask the question there as well.

    Just thought this was more a WordPress thing since none of the user role plugins I’ve tried can do what I described. None of them pick up those capabilities and when you add them manually, it doesn’t work.
