assigning a class to column or column group

Hello,

The Columns plugin is great, but can I assign a class to a specific column (or column group)?

I have a page that has three columns, then some full-width material, then two columns. I have selected columns 2 and column #1 and #2 for styling purposes. But now those two columns need to become 3 columns–so that means of selection won’t work any more.

I could wrap the column group in a div with a class and select that–what do you think is the best solution?
