    Hello.

A question about the plugin setup: I can store individual API access data for each country in the payment gateway settings.

What’s with all the countries in the WordPress backend?
    Is it about delivery countries?
    The location/headquarters of my shop?

I guess it’s about delivery countries?!

Do we have to create 40 API credentials because we have allowed 20 delivery countries in the WooCommerce settings? (20 prod + 20 dev)

If yes, how can we create Klarna API credentials assigned to a delivery country?

I now have an EU test account in the Klarna Merchant Center.
I used this to generate API access data. However, I didn’t have to enter a country when creating/downloading the txt file containing API credentials. I was able to easily download the login details.

(I’ve read your docs several times. Unfortunately, I don’t really understand it. This is my first time using Klarna and I find it quite complicated to set up. I would be happy about easier onboarding. I have further questions. I will open separate tickets for it.)

    Greetings

    Hi,

First you need to configure your Klarna Payments account at Klarna to work with all the countries that you want to sell to and then you will get API keys/credentials from Klarna that you need to add to the Klarna Payments plugin settings in WooCommerce.

Usually you get one set of API Keys from Klarna that is configured for all the countries that you want to sell to but you still have to add the API keys to every country in the Klarna Payments plugin settings in WooCommerce that you want to sell to.

If you need help with the Klarna account configuration i suggest that you contact your Klarna Merchant support.

    Hello. Thanks for the information.

This means: I can use the API access that has been generated for all delivery countries that I have stored in the shop.
    OK.

I will try. Maybe it will work that way.

    Thanks.

Klarna has now sent us a form. Apparently you have to fill this out once for each target country in order to activate Klarna Payments for it. You can then activate it in the shop. A bit complicated. Well. Topic can be closed.
