Assigning category ID’s

    I have searched for the answer, but cannot find it.

    How do I assign category ID’s for my posts, or how do I find out what category ID WP assigned my posts?

  • What ID was assigned to the CATEGORIES?
    Goto the categories page, and hover over their names. In the URL it shows at the bottom, there is a category id.
