    Hi Nishant,

We do not restrict any features from Paid Memberships Pro for a ‘paid’ version, we do have some add-ons that paid members of PMPro will be able to automatically install and update from their WordPress dashboard and get premium support from our experienced and friendly support team.

To address your issue with adding a user to a certain membership level without having that user to checkout, you may simply get that user to register on your website and then edit their profile.

While editing their profile you are able to assign a membership level to that user and set a custom expiration date or set their membership to never expire.

I hope this helps – you are able to find all our available add-ons from the GitHub Repository.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Hi Nishant,

Are you using a custom user role plugin at all – are you able to edit the users profile information such as email, name, description and website?

You are able to go to ‘Users’ > ‘All users’ and select ‘Edit’ for the user you would like to assign your membership to.

Here is a link to an image for reference, a drop down of membership levels will be available to select – https://s29.postimg.org/gel5nhuef/Screen_Shot_2017-08-23_at_1.03.16_PM.png

Please ensure you are editing users as an administrator or have the correct permissions if you are using a custom user role.

    I use paid memberships pro
I found it, must have overlooked it
I don’t know if I asked this somewhere else, when someone signed up for a membership level, can it be setup, that there can also be a user role be assigned ….automatically?

    thanks

    You’re welcome.

We currently have a Roles for Membership Levels add-on: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-roles/

PMPro is very flexible and you can easily code this using the pmpro_after_checkout hook too, here is documentation to the hook – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/hook/pmpro_after_checkout/
    I hope this helps.
