Assigning permissiosn to certain post and pages

  • A client was that his authors can only see and edit specific posts and pages. I’ve tried to do so using the Advanced Access Manager plugin, that seemed to be okay for the job – however users added to a newly created category in AAM do not get access to control panel at all.
    Then I tried another one, and my database got corrupted.

    So, who can advise a simple robust plugin, that allows specific usres only access to specific posts and pages?
