question inappropriate for this forum – sorry

I like this plugin. More control than others.

Was able to pull in a lot of info:

    Content
    Source Field (XPath) = content:encoded
    New Post Location = post_content
    Mapping Type = Post Field

    Author
    Source Field (XPath) = dc:creator
    New Post Location = post_author
    Mapping Type = Post Field

    Date
    Source Field (XPath) = pubDate
    New Post Location = post_date
    Mapping Type = Post Field

I tried to pull in the category without the tags but it didn’t work:
    Source Field (XPath) = category[@domain=”category”]
    New Post Location = category
    Mapping Type = Taxonomy

This works for pulling in all tags and categories
    Source Field (XPath) = category
    New Post Location = category
    Mapping Type = Taxonomy

As a remedy, I put a category in my feed URL and deleted the category mapping then chose a category from the list.

I need help pulling the featured image. Is that possible?

Best solution to pulling in and syncing posts.

Added “Auto Post Thumbnail” to pull in featured images.

I post and manage all my WordPress posts on one domain (not public), then use “Feed Pull” and “Auto Post Thumbnail” to import specific categories to several other sites.

    Works great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perk 1: I manage all posts on one domain. Post same post to multiple sites.
Perk 2: All images are in the original domain media library except for the imported featured image on exported to site.
Perk 3: When I update the original post, all other sites update at the next interval.
    Perk 4: Simple.

    Hi,

Where you able to use an image-URL in the XML to be set as featured image?
If yes, can you please help me how to do this?

    Thanks!

Added “Auto Post Thumbnail” plugin as well to pull in featured images.

I believe that featured images must be in located your local media library (or imported) to be displayed on the site.
