    Hi Loralee,

    No need to pay, I just needed to understand it. I see now you have used [namaste-course-lessons]. However this shortcode works only in the course page, not in a lesson.

    The code [namaste-todo] works fine, I get “This lesson has been completed.” now. This is because you have not defined any requirements for this lesson. [namaste-todo] will display to-do things only when you define them as required in the lesson settings.

    I must have unclicked the assignment on that lesson. Sorry about that.
    I’ll add it again. When I view the lesson, it displays but there’s no hyperlink. Can you let me know if you see the same?

    Is there anything I could add inside the lessons themselves (short of what I’m currently doing – pasting the code from all lessons at the bottom) that would allow them to move on to the next lesson easily? I hoped that’s what [namaste-course-lessons] would do (hence all the questions). It’s just that I will be uploading several a month for the next little while and going back to edit hyperlinks leaves me open to making stupid mistakes.

    p.s. Thanks so much for replying so quickly. I really appreciate it.

    You are doing everything right now. We’ll make some improvements to add [next-lesson] shortcode soon.
    Assignments don’t show links as well yet. There is still a lot to do, hard to catch up with everything.

    I just uploaded a small improvement – you will be able to use [namaste-course-lessons] shortcode inside a lesson. So what you were previously trying to do should work fine now (after you update to 1.1.9).

    thanks so much Prasunsen. I really appreciate your help.

    And, I’ll set aside the idea of assignments for a bit & put them right into the body of the lessons. I’m off to check out the new 1.1.9. Thanks!

    If you want to manually write in advancements to the next course lesson:

    “<“a href=”url to next page”> Next Lesson -> </a”>”

    excluding the ” surrounding < and >…

    I am currently using this method until the following shortcode is available.

    thanks Kskerp! Awesome time. I think I’ll be okay with the [namaste-course-lessons] which shows all of the lessons in order, for the time being. Any chance you using the homework/assignment portion & have a workaround too?
