• Hi All,

I am new the world of wordpress and web design.

I am currently hosting a wordpress site on my QNAP nas and have been having some issues with the site. When I am inside the local network, the website loads properly including the theme settings etc. are picked up correctly when browsing on a PC. However when trying to browse to the site on a mobile device the site does not fit properly to the screen and generally need to zoom out for it to fit. The settings in WordPress for the mobile version is set to 1024pixcels for tablets and 300pixels for mobiles.

In addition the other issue is that when trying to connect to the website outside of the local network, the pages do not display correctly and the theme information is not picked and also takes a very long time to load the website.

The browsers used for testing are as below:

PC – Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 PC
PC – Opera on Windows 7 PC
PC – Internet Explorer on Windows 10
    IOS Devices – Safari Browser
    Android Devices – Chrome Browser.

Can you please assist me in resolving this issue.

    Thanks

    Nirav

  • Hello,

I used to run a website from a NAS but gave it up due to the speed issue.

Do you have an external link you could share so we can take a look?
