    hi!
I use woocommerce to manage users in combination with wc paid listings to charge for job postings.
I want to allow account login and creation at checkout, which works well, but while the order placed is indeed associated with the new account, the job listing created as part of that order is not. So if a user creates a job listing, goes to check out and logins/registers there, they will not have that job in their dashboard when they next login.

Interstingly the job_id for that listing can be found within the woocommerce order description so is there a way to fetch that job and associate it with the newly created account?

    thanks!

Hi @ctdealba, I have not renewed my wc paid listings license so would appreciate any guidance you can provide here!
    thanks again

    Hi Paul,

The changes you are looking to make with the Job submission workflow require you to add some custom code to the website.

WP Job Manager allows account creation feature via the Job Submission forum. If the user already has an account and is logged in while submitting a Job, this listing will be associated with their account.

If the user submits a Job Listing, but the account creation process is handled via a different workflow, you will need to add some custom code for this listing to be properly linked with the user’s account.

We do not support customizations – you can refer to our Support Policy:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/support-policy/

    Specifically:

“We provide our products as-is. We cannot customize our products on-demand, nor can we support third-party customizations. A customization is anything that changes the way the products looks or functions relative to how we make our products available to you. We can do our best to offer advice and guidance, and direct you to the appropriate resources if you require assistance with customization, but we don’t take responsibility or endorse any third-party solutions for customized products.”

We do provide some tutorials for basic customizations here:
