Associated Landlord Options

    Hello,

    I am in the process of transitioning to WPL Real Estate for a client, but I am stuck on figuring out how to handle landlord information associated with a property. In the website’s current back-end, there is a drop-down on every property listing with a list of landlords that the agent can select. From there, there is a separate database that contains that landlord’s contact information, notes, etc.

    Is there any way I can achieve this with WPL Real Estate?

    Hello,

    It’s possible with customization.

    1- If you want to show landlord information as a new activity (Like agent info) in the property details page, you should develop your own activity and assign an instance of it to one of pshow_… positions.

    2- If you want to show landlord information in the categorized data, You should create the fields first and then fill them automatically by listening to “property_finalized” event.

    Also you shouldn’t customize WPL basic because your customization lost after next update.
