Asterisks not appearing on extra ‘required’ fields

  • Hi Folks,

    I’ve used snippets (My Custom Functions) to add validation checking for required fields on a couple of forms on this site I’ve developed:

    This form in particular has the last name as a required field and the validation works if you submit without the last name but the field doesn’t show an asterisk so that the user knows beforehand that it’s required. This can be annoying to the user..

    How can I get the asterisk to appear in fields that I have decided to add ‘required’ validation to so that the user knows..?

    Were the snippets that you’re using developed and provided by GiveWP or a 3rd party?

    I am facing a major problem past two week or so, the new donors are unable to donate when user is logged out or is using private window to view the site , the personal info section of give checkout form are missing when user is logged out and , are displayed when user is logged in we need to launch the site in this month and this glitch is not taking a name to solve , I have tried everything from all plugin deactivation to activating them back again but so results, also updated the plugin but so happy signs
