• I did an SEO analysis on a friend’s website that uses Astra as the main theme and highlighted something very curious, it shows very high matches on the keywords: hellip, menu and toggle and shows them as body tags.

    This is very striking because those texts are in this class:
    <button class = “ast-menu-toggle” aria-expanded = “false”>
    <span class = “screen-reader-text”> Menu Toggle </span>
    </button>
    In theory, this Menu Toggle text should not be considered or seen by Google or SEO tools as keywords, like the word Hellip that responds to the three points (…) to indicate that you can continue reading content.

    Any suggestions that may be causing this type of problem?

  • Hello @dluiso

    Can you help us with the tool used for this analysis so that we can get a better understanding of this issue?

    Further, if you need it is possible to change/remove this screen reader text with the help of the following filter – astra_toggle_button_markup.

    Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Regards,
    Suman ??
