Astra Starter Templates Update error

    Unfortunately the starter templates plugin can not be updated. An error is displayed: Probably a problem with wp-cron.
    What can I do? or is there a bug in the plugin?

    Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I can not disable the plugin. When I click on the deactivate link, wordpress hangs and only a white page is displayed.
    PS: I can no longer do anything in the entire web interface of wordpress, because a white page is always displayed immediately.
    A bad problem!!! What now?

    Oh that’s bad.

    If you have access to FTP, you could deactivate the plugin from there. https://mediatemple.net/community/products/wordpress/360022275731/how-to-deactivate-wordpress-plugins-for-troubleshooting

    Or you can request your hosting company to deactivate it.

    I have found in the wordpress plugins directory the folder Astra-Sites. I renamed it and now wordpress works again. I hope that I was able to reconstruct the website? Should I install astra starter templates again?

    The site is working again, I have also been able to reinstall astra templates and the plugin is working.
    Unfortunately, the error message is still displayed:
    “an automatic update could not be completed, please restart the update”.
    How can I remove this error message?

    Hi @marcellot19,

    If you have everything updated on your site, including this plugin, most probably it is just the cache. And you don’t need to worry about that.
