Astra theme, Elementor, Header and Footer

  • I am using Astra. I am unable to edit either the header or the footer using Elementor. When I go to Edit with Elementor I do not get a Header or Footer option. And when I go to the header or the footer there are no elementor edit symbols. Everywhere else it works.

  • Hello, if you have not created the header/footer with Elementor, you cannot edit it with Elementor. You can edit the header/footer in the Customizer.

    It’s part of the template so I can’t edit all of it and I need to change the background image.

    Can you share the website url?

    How will the template be integrated? If it happens via the Elementor you should maybe ask their support.

    Thank you for your interest. I gave up and started a new staging site. The website already uses Astra and what I am trying to do is switch to a different theme – having all sorts of problems.
