Asynchronous js and facebook counter

The plugin is very good, but GT Metrics reports:

The following resources are loaded synchronously. Load them asynchronously to reduce blocking of page rendering.

Is there anything you can do to avoid this error?

The other issue is: I always see the counter at the Facebook like and there is no way to remove it. Did the app ID field cover the counter checkbox?
