At least one group type by default

    Great plugin, I think it should be part of BuddyPress core. My only issue is that users are allowed to create a group without selecting any type. Is it possible to force users to select at least one type when creating a group?

    Yes, it is possible to force users to select at least one type but the issue is that not everyone wants to categorize their every group in any group type. If this request is made by multiple members then certainly plugin authors can include it in their functionality.

    Well, I know it is possible to include the functionality if they decided to; almost anything is possible to be programmed. When asking if it is possible, obviously I meant as the plugin is right now, not after customisations.
    Of course not everyone wants to categorize all groups, so I think it would be best if this functionality was added as a choice. I will contact the authors directly about it as you suggested, to see if anything can be done. I’ve seen them answer here on other occasions, so I thought it better to post my question here in case others were interested too.
