Hi, I’ve got a small (but very annoying) problem with a site I’m building using the Atahualpa theme. I have set the theme to a fixed width so it sits centrally in the browser. I have a page menu bar with 5 or 6 pages on. When I navigate from ‘HOME’ to any of the other pages the whole site moves to the left by about 10 pixels or so. It’s a very visible jump. This doesn’t occur when you navigate through the other pages, it only occurs when you go to and from the ‘HOME’ page. This may seem like a small issue but it is driving me insane!

    Have a look: https://www.360inspire.com/blog

Any help may mean I get to sleep at night.

    Thanks for looking

  • I can’t duplicate this on my current laptop (1280×800 res), but I suspect it is because the content on the home page is long enough to cause a vertical scroll bar to appear, and the other pages do not. The effect is a noticeable “jump” when the scroll bar appears. See if you can confirm…

Good idea, but I don’t think that’s it. I’ve added extra content on all the other pages so they’re all the same length and I’m still getting the ‘jump’. Thanks for helping though.

Actually, I think you were right about the content…
