Atahualpa Theme – Comments Not Appearing On Pages

    Hi,

    Comments do not appear on pages on my wordpress site: https://www.coastermob.com

    Comments appear on the actual blog post pages. However they do not appear on the normal pages which are not linked to the posts. I have comments enabled for all the pages I want comments to appear on, however when I go on to the page, there is not sign at all that comments are enabled. What am I doing wrong?

  • Maybe you should check page.php to see if the code to load comments is there.. See https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags for WordPress template tags and check the comment tags section to learn what you have to look for. You could also paste the page.php code here between code tags (backtics) for people to have a look..

    There is no page.php

    Anywhere in the theme. Is there a similar page which is just named differently?

    Check your theme options (Dashboard > Appearance > Theme Options > Style and Configure COMMENTS) to see if comments on pages have been turned on. Default is no.
