ATP/Select a display type – is blank

  • I just updated to WP 3.7.1 – and installed NextGen Gallery 2.0.33 for the first time, and activated it.

    I’ve created an album. I’ve created a Gallery (ID=1) and put it in that album.

    When I create a post and click the ATP icon it takes a while to load the dialog box – and under the “Display Galleries” tab, the “Select a display type” and “What would you like to display?” options have no sub-items.

    I tried the shortcode:
    [ngg_images gallery_ids=”1″ display_type=”photocrati_nextgen_basic_slideshow” gallery_width=”800″ gallery_height=”800″]
    and get the error: Gallery not found. Please check your settings.

    Any ideas what’s wrong??? Thanks …

    @michael Kemp – Your shortcode is slightly wrong in this case, it should be: [ngg_images gallery_ids="1" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="800" gallery_height="800"]

    Note the hyphen between photocrati and nextgen (there may be “smart” quotes involved as well, the above should work correctly though.

    More importantly you are describing some of the ATP accordion panels are blank, this is an issue would like to help you sort out. Would you be able to submit a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can get a better look at what might be going on with your site.

    We will likely need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation, please include those with your Bug Report, too.

    I have a similar problem. Its a new installation of WP (on server) and NextGen. When I click the Add To Page Icon, the accordion panels show up. But the “Select a display Type” is blank. (Others are working).

    Tried permanently removing all other plugins, turning NG Gallery plugin off and then reactivating it, restarting Chrome, clearing Chrome cache. Changing themes.

    Any ideas?

    I have the same problem with lates WP and NextGen gallery!
