Atributte/Price filter ignores Categorie filter

  • Hey,

    The filter doesnt seem to work for me. I have the parent categorie “scooters-acessorios” and 3 child categories “Scooters Elétricas”, “Capacetes para moto”, “Outros acessórios”.

    The filter works well when i click each categorie but if i click an atributte or try to filter by price, the selected categorie is ignored and all “scooters-acessorios” items are showed. I have tried to work around the AND/OR filter condition but still without a solution.

    Hi,

    Please set the Logic to AND if you want the filters to be related, but also make sure the individual Filter Items are also set to AND: https://share.getcloudapp.com/p9u8pWWn

    I don’t think it’s related to the AND/OR Logic but probably something about the category hierarchy. If i use Radio/Check for the categories filter it works fine but not with links.

    Even without the categorie, it still, wrongly, filters all the categories, look here:

    Why are all the “scooters-acessorios” products appearing under scooters-acessorios/capacetes-para-moto/?

    Hi,

    With links it won’t work, because the Links will link the results to the attributes or taxonomies page, so it won’t work the same way as the checkbox and radio where you can combine multiple filter items, to be able to select items related to each-other, please use checkbox or radios, not links.

    Hey,

    i just realize this has nothing to do with links or categories. I completly removed the categories hierarchy and this still happens when i filter and then remove filters.

    When i go to example product-category/scooters-eletricas/ it works correctly.

    If i go to: product-category/scooters-eletricas/?wpf=filter it shows all categories.

    I don’t know what to do, please test your self in the website. Thanks for the support.

    Hi,

    Why would you go to product-category/scooters-eletricas/?wpf=filter ? that is not a page or taxonomy, it is the beginning of the filter without options selected, so that’s normal it won’t have any filters applied, so will show all products, but you can only do that manually, if you apply any filter from the sidebar, eg. Color, in folter it will look like this: product-category/scooters-eletricas/?wpf=filter2&wpf_page=1&wpf_cor=azul
