    Greetings!

I have a form with an advanced file uploader field and I need to attach a file.

The problem is, if I choose the “Attach To Mailer” method, i get no file upload in the email. There is no attachment when the email is received!

If I choose the “Add To Media Library” method, i get a working link to the file but all my html email body message from the email notifications section is missing!!

Already tried the CSV file attachment and is working but that does not solve the problem. I even prefer save the file in the server trough “Add To Media Library” but i want to receive the email with form fields data displaying in the email! That is basic stuff!

Thank you for your kind attention

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I have a similar problem with this plugin. The attached files seem to have been saved since I can find the corresponding links in the entry (/wp-content/uploads/3d3b7cbbeb5ee4913a2906827d771c92/Prop_Off.txt), but when I click on it an error message appears indicating that the page cannot be found.
I was determined to buy this plugin, but I have to change my decision because I don’t imagine a form without the possibility to attach files to it.
I would like to join screenshots to this post, but I can’t find how.

    Please,
Forget my last post. I found the solution and it works perfectly.

    Hi jebbour!

It seems that the entry (/wp-content/uploads/3d3b7cbbeb5ee4913a2906827d771c92/Prop_Off.txt) is automatically deleted to prevent unnecessary disk space junk.

Would you please mind to share the solution you have found?

    Thank you!

    Hi Hivewarrior,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms, it means a lot to us. I’m sorry to hear your file uploads aren’t working as expected. You should check out our documentation’s guide to file uploads and how they are handled, it is here: https://calderaforms.com/doc/how-caldera-forms-file-attachments-uploads-work/. A problem I see pretty often is that Attach To Mailer is checked without Attach To Media Library, so the file is never sent to the Media Library despite the fact that a file upload option was selected.

As for the problem with the email HTML body, that sounds site-specific – we don’t have any open reports on that happening with Caldera Forms. For help from our team with a site-specific problem, we ask that you purchase Caldera Forms Pro and submit a support request calderaforms.com/support.

    Thanks!
