    Hello,

Thank you for creating this great tool. Thank you for addressing the companies page bug as timely as you did. I am having trouble attaching Images to my linked post. The functionality was working perfectly but stopped working recently. I believe around same time we started using the new update. Please advise me on how to solve this.

    Thank you,

    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,

Is the image set as a featured image for the post? Do you have the advanced sharing method switched on? Is this a post you have previously shared on LinkedIn?

    Thanks,

We are adding the Image via “add media”. The image is embedded within the article.

We used simple mode before and it worked. But have also tried advanced mode to see if we could get the image to post and we could not.

    These are all new posts.

    Thank for your quick response!

So it sounds like the simple share method worked for you?

If you are putting the image in via the featured image it is best to make the share method advanced. If you put your image in the content, the simple method should work. HOWEVER, there’s no guarantee the simple share method will work because it is fully reliant on LinkedIn going through your post and trying to find an image and depending on the markup of your page it may or may not find a suitable image to share. This is beyond the plugins control unfortunately, and this is why I have the advanced method which uses the feature image as this explicitly tells LinkedIn to use the feature image.

    Thanks,

Yes, it worked perfectly prior to the update. Taking the image in simple mode and attaching it to the LinkedIn post.

As of now the image is presented in the URL. I believe the image was attached to the LinkedIn post before. Is it suppose to be attached to the post?

If any changes have been made in this regard it would have been done on LinkedIn’s end. Thanks
