Attached image(s) won't be uploaded on Google

  • On 2 different blogs (nibble.it and nbtimes.it), both using Jetpack, I’m experiencing the same problem: attached images from posts are not loaded in Google Plus. I’ve verified with Google Webmaster Tools and it looks like image links are present. Facebook works fine and posts are published using attached images.

    Is there something wrong?

    Hi there:

    It appears that you’re setting your Open Graph tags using other plugins – and those plugins are duplicating the OG meta tags in your page’s source code, which might be causing the issue.

    Also, you can check to see what Google is receiving by putting the URL of one of your posts into their debug tool to see what information they’re pulling from your site: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

    I’m afraid it is up to Google to respect the settings on your site. We send them the same information, but they can choose to ignore the preference and choose another.

    At this point, I’m not sure what would be causing this, short of a Google+ issue.
