attachment as thumbnails?

  • Hi

    I need advice. I have checked the posttype “attachment” because that is the type that I need searchable, and I have checked “Include thumbnails in search results” because the attachment in these cases ofcurse are images. But they do not show in the search results, only the title? And in the media I can not add a thumbnail to an attachment.

    So how do I make the attachment images visible in the search results?

    I am not sure if the attachments have thumbnails. Better Search tries to fetch the thumbnail with the inbuilt WP function get_the_post_thumbnail

    Are there thumbnails being created to the attachment? I’m not sure if this actually works.
