Attachment pages not redirected after plugin

I have an attachment page as following:

https://www.example.com/product/cat-tshirt/cat-tshirt-white/

I changed to redirect attachment urls to “Yes” in media tab. Then installed and activated the purge plugin. Now when I navigate this page. It’s opening the the image inside the page. There is nothing else.

I thought that it will be rediracting to below link:

https://www.example.com/product/cat-tshirt/

But instead it’s showing the image. Is there something wrong with this?
