    Hi,

I’ve configured osT Filesystem plugin without any problem.

    • I can upload / download the attachments to / from osT
    • I can see osT attachment folders
    • I can download the attachments from Key4ce osTicket Bridge front-end but I can’t see input field for attaching the files in osTicket Bridge front-end

Does Key4ce osTicket Bridge support uploading the attachments from WP front-end?

PS. I read this post but I’m not sure what if ask the similar question of mine.

    • Key4ce osTicket Bridge: 1.2.7 (trunk)
    • osTicket: 1.9.5.1

I’m not interested in uploading the attachments from Key4ce osTicket Bridge back-end because I already prevent the subscribers of my WordPress from access WordPress back-end

We have pushed some of our systems over to the latest osticket and noticed a change in the attachment codes.

We are working on making the attachments compatible again with osticket 1.9.5.1

    Hi,

Sorry for nagging, Is there any progress on this bug?

still working on it. 1.9.5.1 recoded it’s database again for the Attachments.. so we yet again have to modify the queries specific to that version..

(i must say i am getting extremely tired of osTicket recoding everything in the database every few months it’s kind of crazy).

I know this is silly but the new version has been release since some days 1.9.6 and Key4ce osTicket Bridge still not working correctly on 1.9.5.1 and not compatible with 1.9.6 ??

You can ask the maintainers about this issue. I suggest to ask them for embedding your project as a plugin for osTicket instead of a plugin for WordPress thus you can get rid of bad database structure.

BTW, I’m extremely need to enable attachments in my website.

unfortunately making the queries and codes take time.
and time is of course a rare commodity these days.

the bad database structure is osticket it self, we use their database for reading and storing information, problem is; on every update they change part of their basic structure breaking existing queries (data no longer stored in those locations)

that aspect can only be resolved in one way; a developer adjusting the queries in the code.

the new code should be released today supporting 1.9.5.1 and 1.9.6
it would of been released on saturday unfortunately my laptop broke along the way.

Ok, new version has been released.
it has your attachment fix and other fixes for 1.9.5.1 and 1.9.6

make sure you select the right version in the backend and it should work.

    Thanks.

I can see input filed but it doesn’t work for unknown reason. I get this error message “Please make sure your file extension should be : ” although I configured osTicket to accept all files types (even if I set a specified type I get same error message)

    Screenshots:

    I’m using:

    • WordPress 4.1.1
    • osTicket 1.9.6
    • Key4ce osTicket Bridge 1.2.8

Does any one suffer from this issue? I tried to do many test but unfortunately attachments still not work ??

    Works fine in our tests.
only issue we had is when the osticket has empty allowed extension list.
just made an update to trunk which fixes that, can you try the trunk version and see if it resolves anything for you?

    Plugin Author mbnoimi

    (@mbnoimi)

With trunk version the issue didn’t occur. I encourage you to pack a new version ASAP.

    Thank you guys.

Current release (1.2.8) doesn’t work fine with attachments as I mentioned above while SVN trunk works fine.

May you please create a new release because auto-update of WordPress breaks breaks the websites in case of using SVN trunk.

1.2.8 depends on attachment config in osticket actually.
we have just broadend it’s spectrum in the trunk script so different configs in specific to extensions will work ok.

new update we planning addresses some issues in the contact form page.
once it passes our test we will push an update (should be within today or tomorrow).
