Attachments not able to be read by computer programs

After an applicant submits the form through the Apply Online Plugin and attaches the required documents, I am unable to view these attachments properly. When attempting to open images, applications like Photos indicate that the file format is not supported, and for documents, Microsoft Word displays a message stating, “We found unreadable content.”
Problem Details:
- Images: Attempting to open attached images results in an error message, such as “Looks like we do not support that file format” in Photos.
- Documents: Opening attached documents in Microsoft Word shows a message stating, “We found unreadable content.”
