Attachments switches editor to Visual mode

  • I’ve noticed that when Attachments is activated, any time I try to edit a page it will switch the editor to Visual mode. Even if I switch it to Text mode, after clicking Update it will reload the edit page screen and switch back over to Visual.

    I disabled all other plugins to see if maybe there was a conflict there, but it still happens when only Attachments is activated.

    I have tested it on two sites — one with WP 3.9 and another with 3.8.1.

    Not a huge issue, but I do like to keep the editor in Text mode because Visual will strip out some HTML code on a few pages that have a little more HTML to them than a typical page.
