I made a wordpress theme for some friends who wanted to start a babelog-blog. Its my first foray into an all css layout and also first try at making a whole wordpress theme – so im actually quite proud and pleased with the end result

Though I would appreciate any views and for people to test it (ive tried IE and Firefox)

its https://www.attackofthepornstars.com – note it does have links to NSFW material though the site itself has no adult pictures on it (neither does the theme)

Looking cool with Safari… classy pin-up style… not completely in line with its links, but appreciated.

I was going for a 50’s b-movies style to go with the domain – something that seperates this site from the other million babelog sites out there

Viewed it in IE 6 and Firefox. Looks fine in both.

Nice clean and simple layout, LOVE the header image.

Dunno how picky you are about validation but I ran it through and it picked up 36 errors.

ill probably work on the validation thing later on if my friends want me to, but at the time it was just a case of getting the site live

menj, are you referring to the tabs at the top or the sidebar?

both are based on code from stu nicholls website:

cool theme…why not have the archives list be in an unordered list like the rest of the sidebar, instead of the select box? just curious.

I used a pull down menu because the rest of my sidebar is already quite long and didn’t want a huge archives list. Though in my next layout for the site, I might put in a list
