Attempting to launch platform, "save and preview" not working.

    I’m planning to open my platform to new campaigns tomorrow, but I’ve run into an issue where regular users are unable to use the “save and preview” button when creating a campaign. Clicking results in a 404 error. The campaign does appear as a draft in the backend and in the user’s profile (same error if attempting to edit from here). If I’m logged in as an administrator, it works. This is time sensitive, so any help would be appreciated.

    EDIT: I have a second installation on another server that I’m decommissioning this week, and was able to replicate this same issue on that install.

  • This is an issue with the User Meta plugin, I would recommend deactivating the plugin.

    I was indeed using User Meta, but disabling it did not solve my issue, unfortunately. I have cleared my cache while testing.

    Disable all plugins apart from EDD + Crowdfunding and Payment Gateways, then re-save WordPress permalinks and ensure they are set to https://codex.www.ads-software.com/File:permalink-settings.png

    I have attempted this on both servers, no luck. I’m a little at a loss on this one. Also tested w/ all plugins disabled (except for crowdfunding/EDD) and still received the 404.

    Not sure why this was marked resolved. Still need assistance; I was planning to launch my site today.

    I have a security plugin that is causing problems, this is no longer an issue for you. Thanks.

    Hi rdb,

    The user should be administartor or campaign contributor to use that feature. you have to change the user roles to campaign contributor and set that role default for new users. Hope it will help..
