Attracta and robot.txt

    Hi,

    In setting Additional robots.txt rules are being shown as 

    Disallow: /xmlrpc.php
Disallow: /wp-
Disallow: /trackback/
Disallow: ?wptheme=
Disallow: ?comments=
Disallow: ?replytocom
Disallow: /comment-page-
Disallow: /?s=
Disallow: /wp-content/

    But when I open robot.txt I’m only seeing this 

    #Begin Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove
sitemap: https://cdn.attracta.com/sitemap/sitecode.xml.gz
#End Attracta SEO Tools Sitemap. Do not remove

    How can I fix this?

  • I don’t know this Attracta thing but it looks like it generates a static robots.txt a file. The XML Sitemap Feeds plugin needs any static robots.txt files to be removed. So if Attracta keeps recreating it, it is not compatible with my plugin.

    Are the XML Sitemaps accessible without problems? Can you share a link to your site?

    Also is it possible to choose which Categories to include in the sitemap?

    It looks like it’s all working now.

    At this point, it’s only possible to include all or none.
