Attractive Author PAge

  • I bit of a broad question, but I was wondering how to make really nice author pages so that they don’t look obviously “WordPress”.

    Does anyone have a particularly nice author page which they could share some of the coding to?

    You’re correct, the question is quite broad, but hopefully with a little more information I can help.

    First off, by “author page” do you mean the archive of that author’s posts, or do you mean something else.

    Next, what I’m thinking you mean by obviously “WordPress” is that a lot of themes seem to emphasize the blogging portion of the platform rather than anything else and that a lot of the time everything ends up looking like it should be either a blog post or a post archive. Is this correct?

    Finally, can you give me an example of what you think is a nice looking author page just so that I can be sure of exactly what you’re asking?
